Fever Tonicum (Fever Tonic) is a potion in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 that alleviates fever in time.
You need to obtain a fever tonic for Captain Thomas before you run out of time and Hans is executed, which is one of the objectives of the ‘For Whom The Bell Tolls,’ main quest.
How To Get Fever Tonic In For Whom The Bell Tolls?
Henry and Hans end up in jail due to their fight at the young Lord Semine’s wedding. When the quest begins, Henry is set free, but Hans is imprisoned.
Captain Thomas must prove their identity to free Hans from jail, but he has fallen ill due to injuries. Players must find Captain Thomas before 12 hours pass and cure him with Fever Tonic.
You can access the surgeon’s workshop in Trosky Castle to obtain the Fever Tonic. In this location, you will not only find the brewing recipe but also meet Katherine, who you rescued at the pond.
You can reach the location either by sneaking in through the kitchen, crossing the wooden bridge, and accessing the farthest section of the castle or convincing Chamberlain to let you in by offering to brew a Digestive Potion for him.
If you successfully persuade Chamberlain, he will let you access the surgeon’s workshop.

You need to speak to Kathrine once inside, who will reveal the location of a locked chest containing Fever Tonic.
However, the chest, which you will find in the next room, has a hard lock, making it difficult to open without wasting lockpicks.
So, it’s better to return to the surgeon’s workshop and retrieve the journal from the shelf, which has all the recipes for brewing the Fever Tonic yourself.
Your next step is to locate the chest in the workshop containing essentials for brewing Fever Tonic, i.e., Elderberry Leaf, Ginger, and Feverfew.
