Once you have obtained this ability, you can equip and use two weapons simultaneously. However, to unlock this ability, you must locate Valgar, an NPC who drops the Dual Wield skill book.

Locate Valgar To Obtain The Dual Wield Skill Book In Rune Slayer

You can find Valgar roaming around the Lakes Shire area. In order to master dual wielding, tracking him down is the first step.

First, make your way to the elevator in Lakes Shire. If you do not have an idea about the location, consult navigation guides to find your way.

From the elevator, proceed toward the stairs leading up to the Knights Templar base. This location is crucial, as it intersects with Valgar’s patrol route.

Before moving further, set your spawn point near the stairs. This ensures that even if defeated in combat against Valgar, you can quickly return without losing your progress.

After setting your spawn point, you can proceed to the cave leading to the Beastmen camp after exiting the Templar base.

Obtain Dual Wield Skill Book In Rune Slayer To Unlock New Ability — Enter the cave to locate the NPC.

Near the entrance of the cave, you will encounter a challenging jump that will bring you closer to Valgar’s potential spawn point.

Since the jump is challenging, do not get discouraged if you fail initially. Shift lock can dramatically improve your accuracy.

After you have completed the jump, check the map for Valgar’s spawn points. There should be two platinum markers indicating where he will spawn.

If Valgar is not immediately visible, you have two options: server hop to find an instance where he has already spawned or wait patiently for his appearance, as spawn times may vary.

Battle Against Valgar

After you have located Valgar, prepare yourself for a battle. Make sure your health and defenses are maximized. A well-equipped setup can be the difference between victory and loss.

In the fight, prioritize killing Valgar—he might drop his signature cloak or cap, but your main goal is getting the dual wield skillbook (denoted by an “R drop”).
