The Guard and the Mysterious Stranger is a random quest in the Firework Isles in Infinity Nikki.
The NPC Joya quest is one of the five tasks of Day 3 of the Strings of Time event.

How To Complete The Guard and the Mysterious Stranger?
After completing the Repair the Hot Air Balloon quest, you can unlock The Guard and the Mysterious Stranger.
It is a sub-quest that Joya can accept on Sizzle and Spark Center, Florawish. The NPC will usually be around the riverbank on the Northern side or in the primary location itself.
You must clear three out of the 10 Styling Challenge rounds to complete the mission successfully.
To get the Styling Challenge, interact with Joya; she will assign you the challenge. You can get random styling themes such as Step into the Moonlight, Tribute to the Stars, Steadfast Determination, Thousands and One Blossoms, etc.
After completing three styling challenges, you can earn 40 Diamonds, 100 Thread Of Purity, and 100 Shiny Bubbles.
