In Mandragora, Offerings become an important part of the game during the middle and later stages.
To complete them, you have to gather a list of herbs and place them at nine special altar spots found in different parts of the map.
Every altar needs the same group of herbs, so you will need to collect enough of each one. This task is needed to move forward in the game and unlock what the altars are hiding.
Best Way To Get Herbs For Offerings
The most effective way to collect herbs for Offerings is by completing Alannah’s thief quest during the mid-game.
When you reach this quest, make sure to lie to Alannah about who the thief is. After you lie, a cat will appear and start selling both herbs and seeds.

This vendor becomes one of the easiest and most consistent ways to gather the ingredients needed for Offerings.
Without access to the cat vendor, farming some of the herbs, such as Frost Lichen, Umbral Mushroom, and Bloodmoss, can be time-consuming.
So, unlocking the herb seller through the quest is highly recommended. The earlier you do this, the easier it will be to stock up before you start visiting the altars.

Each offering altar requires the exact same list of herbs. You will need:
- Sage ×2
- Bogberry ×5
- Garlic ×10
- Umbral Mushroom ×15
- Frost Lichen ×15
- Cardinal Leaf ×15
- Calendula ×15
- Deadly Nightshade ×15
- Bloodmoss ×15
Be sure to have all of these in your inventory before you begin altar visits. It saves time and avoids unnecessary backtracking.
