Roblox’s Grow a Garden is a farming simulation experience where players grow plants to earn money.
In the 1.04.0 update of the game, the developers introduced various types of pets, each providing a unique buff.
Additionally, players must feed their pets to fill their hunger meter and help them level up in Grow a Garden.
Pets Added In Grow A Garden
Players can now obtain pets by purchasing eggs from the Pet Egg Store, located on the opposite side of the map from the Seed Store.

The eggs come in five different varieties, which are refreshed in the shop every 30 minutes. The available rarities are:
- Common Egg
- Uncommon Egg
- Rare Egg
- Legendary Egg
- Bug Egg
To hatch an egg, place it in your garden and wait for it to hatch. Eggs of different rarities have varying hatching times.

Additionally, players can use Robux to instantly hatch eggs and refresh the selection of eggs available in the shop. Players can have a limited number of pets in their garden at a time and can sell them to earn extra Sheckles.

Each animal has its own unique traits, while pets like the Polar Bear, Dragonfly, Chicken Zombie, and Praying Mantis can trigger mutations in plants.
Feed Pets In Grow A Garden To Make Them Bigger
Each pet has its own traits, along with an age and hunger level that must be replenished by feeding it.

When a player hovers over a pet, they can see its hunger level and experience level. To feed a pet, simply equip any fruit or crop from your inventory, click on the pet, and select the “Feed” option.
A prompt will appear in the center of the screen showing how much the hunger level has been filled.

The type and mutation of the fruit determine how much the hunger level is filled, with rarer fruits restoring more hunger. Each pet has a different hunger bar that depends on its rarity, and it gains experience points whenever the hunger bar is filled.

As the pet ages, its buff effect improves by either reducing the cooldown or increasing its strength. Furthermore, if the pet’s hunger bar is empty, it will not gain any experience points or age.
