Set Sail Pro Angler in Wuthering Waves is a tutorial quest under the Old Man and the Whale event in Version 2.1.

The objective of this tutorial quest is to finish multiple fishing requests, such as catching an Octopus Clam and a Dumbo Octopus.

Locate Ishmael To Start The Quest

The first thing you need to do in Set Sail Pro Angler is find a fisherman named Ishmael in Rinascita.

You will find him fishing by the docks. You can skip the conversation and then find the Gondolier to prepare for the voyage to the Riccioli Islands. You will find the gondolier standing on the side of the docks.

Hop up onto his Gondola, and you should arrive at Riccioli Islands.

Now search for old captain Ahab, whom you can find at the harbor. Before you go fishing, speak with Planck and get ready to sail.

To become a Pro Angler, you need to increase your Fame. And to do that you need to complete the Fishing Requests. The first request is to catch 1 octopus clam.

Head to the marked fishing spot. It’s easy to locate the spot when you see a glowing area with floating bubbles.

Once you have fish on your line, you need to press the button at the right time to catch them. Once you catch the fish, you must store them in the cargo.

Use Cargo Space To Transport The Fish

Due to the cargo’s limited space, you must arrange your fish efficiently to maximize the number you can bring.

If they don’t fit properly, you won’t be able to transport them all. So, use your cargo space wisely. You can manage your cargo space by moving or rotating the catch.

Once you set your cargo, bring it back to the dock, and you should see the message “Request complete. Proceed to deliver the catch.”

There you have it. Your first fishing request, i.e., Ahab’s Request: Maiden Voyage, is complete.

Now, you need to complete another fishing request, i.e., Ahab’s Request: Big Catch, in which you have to catch Dumbo Octopus.

Once you get the octopus, bring it back to the dock and deliver it for rewards. Now go talk to Ahab and then visit the market in Riccioli Port to complete the quest.
