Farming gold in Rune Slayer can be challenging, especially if you are new to the game or still building your character, but there are some efficient and accessible methods.
These methods include the high-risk, high-reward “Hell Money Farm” and the safer, beginner-friendly “Lakewood & Elderwood Route”.
You can earn about 20 gold per hour in the mid to late game with the right strategy, approach, and build. But there is a catch. Before diving into these methods, make sure you meet certain criteria.
For one, you must be at least level 27 to equip platinum-tier tools, including a Platinum Axe, Platinum Sickle, and Platinum Pickaxe, which are essential for harvesting high-value resources.
For the best results, pairing an Elf race with a Thief class is ideal because of their natural stealth, double jump, and enhanced stealth abilities, which allow for quick and safe navigation.
Hell Money Farm Method To Obtain Gold In Rune Slayer
Hell Money farm is the most profitable one, but it is a high-risk, high-reward. The area is dangerous because of environmental dangers such as lava, fireballs, and enemies. Nonetheless, if you are adequately prepared, the return is high.
You must be prepared well before entering Hell and be ready to navigate the hazardous environment. After getting inside, you must prioritize high-value resources like Mithrill and Scorch Leaf.

You need to stick to safer zones and dodge fireballs and lava in the process. This is where the Elf and Thief classes come into play. In order ot navigate Hell safely, use Elf’s stealth ability and Thieg’s agility to escape when detected.
To increase your profit, adopt the sell-and-server-hop strategy. Once your inventory is full, exit Hell, sell your loot, and switch servers to reset the resource nodes.
Lakewood And Elderwood Route For Gold
For those below level 27, the Lakewood and Elderwood Route offers a safer, low-risk alternative to accumulate gold.
You need to focus on the areas where Lakewood and Elderwood trees grow. These zones provide easy-to-harvest resources that replenish quickly.
Players can prioritize gathering Lakewood Logs and Lily Leaves, each selling for 1 to 1.5 silver. For efficiency, use server hopping—once you deplete a zone’s resources, switch to another server to find fresh materials, avoiding the wait for resource respawns.
While this method yields a lower profit, 8 to 10 gold per hour, it is much safer for early-game players.
