Krogar in Rune Slayer is an NPC tied to the Thieves Guild questline, a series of tasks assigned by a character named Saegar.
Killing the Krogar is the second contract Seagar assigns you once you have accessed the Thieves Guild. It grants you the Assassin’s Boots, one of the four pieces in the Assassin Set.
If you succeed in the assigned contracts, you will receive rewards, including armor. However, you will not be given the set all at once; each quest will reward you with a piece of the Assassin set.
How To Find And Defeat Krogar In Rune Slayer?
Krogar can be found in the swamp region of Greatwood Forest near a tower-like structure. So, to reach Krogar, you need to work on the quest assigned by Saegar.
Before you start your quest journey, you might want to grind to at least level 25 to equip the full set to handle the quests comfortably.
First things first, find Saegar inside the Giuld and accept the contracts. Now, head to the swamp region of Greatwood Forest, a marshy, likely hazardous area in the game’s map. You need to look for a tower-like structure as your landmark.
Defeating Krogar In Rune Slaye
A stealth or agility-based build is ideal since the Assassin Set boosts agility and suits the Thief class. Equip gear that enhances speed, critical hits, or stealth. Skills like Veil (invisibility) or Ambush (high-damage strike) from the Thief subclass could be helpful if unlocked.
Moreover, to defeat the enemy, you must approach cautiously, using the environment (like the tower) for cover or high ground.
Unlike other bosses, such as the Rat King and Slime, you might not face much difficulty in killing Krogar, so take your best weapons and approach the heavy attack immediately for a quick victory.
Once Krogar is defeated, return to Saegar at the Thieves Guild. He will hand over the Assassin’s Boots as your reward.
After you complete the second contract, Saegar will assign you Contract 3: Silas (Assassin’s Hood) and Contract 4: Vaelion (Assassin’s Cloak).
