Find James In Rune Slayer Assassin Set Quest

Published on:

In Rune Slayer, James is the first obstacle in your journey to obtain the coveted Assassin Set. Located in Pinewood Thickets, he is the initial target in Saegar’s Contract.

James is just the first step to your impressive exploratory having of the powerful Assassin Set armor.

He is not as formidable as other foes who would comprise some pretty loaded guys, but he sets you out for quite a journey into a vital progression path for all wanting agility-centric equipment.

Where To Find James In Rune Slayer?

To confront James, leave by the southwest gate of Wayshire town and head towards the Pinewood Thickets area (on the right).

Once in the area, head west and look for a tiny campfire among the dense trees where James is stationed. It is a distinctive place that is easy to find once you’ve reached it.

Following your journey, go into the battle with James after you have the essential healing items, leveled-up beginner equipment, enough HP, and resources.

Kill James And Contact Saegar For An Assassin Set

After the killing of James, go back to Saegar, who is once again in the Goblin Caves. This would count as the first contract completion and thus move Saegar to the Thieves Guild, where he can offer further contracts.

It is only the beginning of acquiring this set, with James paving the way.

For Contract 2, you are to kill Krogar to get the Assassin Boots, followed by Contract 3, which will require killing Silas to receive the Assassin’s Hood.

Finally, Contract 4 would require you to kill Vaelion to earn the Assassin’s Cloak.

The Assassin Set.

The Assassin Set offers impressive bonuses particularly suited for Agility-based builds. However, players should ensure they reach level 25 to equip these items.

The complete set has cumbersome armor: the Hood provides 220 Armor, +8 to Agility, and +2 to Spirit. The Cloak would render 425 Armor, +16 to Agility, +4 to Spirit, and +2% to Crit Chance.

Boots give you 220 Armor, +8 Agility, and +2 Spirit. While belonging primarily to Thief class characters, this equipment is pretty useful for any Agility-based build.
