In Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree, Bloodfiends are significant enemies tied to the “Drain the Blood” trophy.

You will encounter Bloodfiend in three main places in Faelduum. Defeating him in each place will grant you a few rewards.

Lochmuir Village

The first one to encounter a Bloodfiend in the abandoned cellars underneath Lochmuir Village.

Once a prosperous town, it now stands as an example of the spreading corruption that keeps gnawing at the land.

The creature prowls the narrow and flooded pathways beneath the village square, having built a monstrous nest made of the desiccated remains of previous victims.

Players encounter this Bloodfiend while searching for the grappling hook during the “Find a Friend” quest. It is the first and foremost major challenge, testing the player’s finesse with their chosen class.

Braer Castle

It is the stronger second variant of Bloodfiend that resides in the very dilapidated halls of Braer Castle.

Once the pride of Faelduum’s nobility, this ancient castle has become a scene of gruesome hide-and-seek for one of the most aggressive Bloodfiends.

Forsaken Mine

The final and most dangerous Bloodfiend inhabits the lightless depths of Forsaken Mine.

Such bloodline oversees tremendous evolution and modifications to adapt to life in the litter-strewn underground.
