Fans were in awe when the developers of Lies of P announced a new DLC for the game, titled Overture, during Summer Game Fest.
The new update introduces a new location, new enemies, and new bosses, and serves as a prequel to the main game’s story.
Additionally, Lies of P: Overture introduces various new outfits that players can unlock for free.
New Outfits Added In Lies Of P: Overture
The Lies of P: Overture update, released on June 6 during Summer Game Fest, adds tons of exciting new content for players to explore.
The new DLC adds 15 unique outfits, featuring a total of 26 individual pieces of apparel.
Various chests are scattered throughout the new location, each containing pieces of the outfit set that players can collect.
Winter’s Hunting Outfit
The first set of outfits can be found in the open area at the starting location of the DLC, where players can open a chest.
It includes the Winter’s Hunting outfit, which comes with both an apparel piece and a hat to complete the set.
Reddened Tailcoat
Travel to the Greenhouse Outdoor Garden and head toward the cave located behind you.
Players may need Markiona’s key to unlock the door. Once unlocked, proceed through the cave until a cutscene begins.
At the end of the cutscene, players will receive the Reddened Tailcoat along with the Bloodstained Locket.
Piercing Death’s Hunting Apparel And The Eccentric’s Mask
The next outfit can be found in the Carnival Garden, and players can use the Stargazer to teleport there.
You will find an NPC right beside the water fountain. Interact with him to purchase the Black Rabbit Hole key.
With the key in hand, head to the building behind the clown knock-down tent, where you will find a safe inside.
Players can use the key to open the safe, which contains Piercing Death’s Hunting Apparel and the Eccentric’s Mask.
Permeating Death’s Hunting Apparel And The Youngest’s Mask
Inside the Eventide Hotel, head to the Miraculous Flower Garden and enter the room on your right.
You’ll need a Black Rabbit Hole key to enter the room, where players can find a safe inside.
Players can find the Permeating Death’s Hunting Apparel along with the Youngest’s Mask.
Blue Sheep’s Battle Outfit
Travel to the Coolant Control Room, where players will encounter Veronique, a mini-boss in the area.
Defeat her, then approach and interact with her. At the end of the cutscene, she will reward the players.
She will reward players with the Blue Sheep’s Apparel and Mask for defeating her, completing the set.
Black Death’s Protective Apparel And The Eldest’s Gas Mask
Similarly, players can use the Stargazer to travel to the Zelator Underground Facility to unlock the next outfit set.
From the Stargazer, go upstairs and take a left turn to enter a room that contains a safe.
Opening the safe will grant players Black Death’s Protective Apparel and the Eldest’s Gas Mask.
Golden Snail’s Outfit
In the Shipwreck Exterior location of the new DLC, players will encounter a mini-boss named Lumacchino.
You can fast travel directly to the location and make your way to the back of the map.
Players will be rewarded with the Golden Snail outfit, including both the mask and apparel, upon defeating him.
Puppet Prince’s Imperial Crown Outfit
Deep within the Coastal Cave hideout, players will encounter various enemies throughout the cave system.
However, if players take the right turn in the cave from the Stargazer’s location and make their way upward, they will encounter the Pupper Prince.
Defeating him will grant players the Puppet Prince’s Imperial Crown outfits in the Lies of P: Overture DLC.
Death’s Hunting Apparel And The Battle Maniac’s Mask
Players can use the Stargazer to fast travel to various locations on the map, including Kart Lighthouse.
After spawning, use the staircase to reach the top of the tower, then scale down three levels on the outside.
There, players will find a locked door. Use the Black Rabbit Hole key to unlock it and enter the room.
Players can find Death’s Hunting Apparel and the Battle Maniac’s Mask inside the safe within the room.
Famed Detective’s Outfit
Players will need to collect multiple Corroded Cipher Machines and present them to the Tracker NPC.
Additionally, players will need to explore various areas to find clues and collect amulets that unlock different locations on the map.
By completing all of the Tracker’s objectives, you will receive the Famed Detective’s Coat and Hat cosmetics.
Famous Detective’s Mustache
Another collectible can be found in the Elixir Research Zone, which is directly accessible via the Stargazer.
From the entrance on the left, head downstairs, then take a left at the bottom of the stairs to find a chest.
Inside the chest, players will find Klaus’s Luxury Bag. Next, head to the Frozen Coast and locate a safe at the back of the ship.
Players will need to talk to Klaus at the Kart Hotel and trade the bag for two different rare items.
Moreover, players can trade a single Ancient Disk for the Famous Detective’s Mustache, Veteran’s Eyepatch, or Great Adventure Mask.
Leader’s Battle Outfit And Genius Meister’s Monocle
Players will also receive outfits as a reward for defeating the final boss in the new Lies of P: Overture update.
Arlecchino, the Blood Artist, is the final boss, and the battle takes place at the entrance of the Rose Garden.
Obtain the Leader’s Battle Apparel and Mask, which together complete the Leader’s Battle outfit in Lies of P: Overture.
Furthermore, after defeating the final boss, return to the boss area to find the Genius Meister’s Monocle.
