To find this valuable item, you must start the main quest, “The Crimson City,” where your objective is to find the exit from the Umbral City.
As you explore this area, a chest will show up with all kinds of stuff inside it; you’ll find four items, one of which is a ‘Map of Faelduum.
Once you get the Map, a new quest with the same title will automatically be added to your journal immediately. The quest description states: “You stumbled upon a complete map of Faelduum. Show it to Gerald.”
Taking The Map To Gerald
Now that you have discovered the Secret Map, the next thing to do is find Gerald Borough, the map expert, who will help you interpret the secrets of the map.
To meet Gerald and complete the quest, you can follow the steps mentioned below;
- Follow the path leading left from where you discovered the map.
- Soon after the scouts, you should see the cliff surface where you can climb.
- When you climb the edge, you will find Gerald.
- Tell Gerald that you found this map.
- Excitedly, he says, “Let me see that! Lots of secrets in this – I ‘ll add them to your map.”
- Finish the conversation by selecting the additional dialogue option “Map Fragments” to conclude it.
Once you finish the conversation with Gerald, you can complete the quest and earn 500 Gold as the quest reward.
