What Actually Happens In the Test Server?

The test server is a private server where only a few players can join. It’s used to test upcoming updates. The server usually opens just a short time before the new content is released to the public.

When you are inside the test server, you can try things early, like new seeds, new gear, animals, and other features that are not yet live in the main game. This gives players a chance to see what’s coming and help find any problems with the new update.

How To Join The Test Server In Grow A Garden

To join, you first need to be in the Grow A Garden Discord server. Once you’re there, go to the #announcements channel.

This is where Jandelle, the developer, will sometimes post an invite link to the test server. He does not ping anyone or give any warning. The link appears randomly, so you have to watch that channel closely.

When the link gets posted, only about 10 people can join. You have to click fast, or you will miss your chance. If you get in, the server is called Grow A Garden Testers. That’s the official test server. There are around 1,000 testers in it right now. If you are in, you are officially a tester.

Once you join, remember to not leak anything. Testers are not allowed to share any content from the test server.

If you show anything to others, you will get kicked. So be careful, follow the rules, and enjoy the early access. Lastly, the test server may not be open yet, just keep checking the announcements closer to the next update.
