Destroy The Locomotive/Train In Sniper Elite: Resistance For Sonderzuge Sabotage Questline

“Destroy the Locomotive” is one of the objectives within the Investigate The Railyard quest in Sniper Elite: Resistance Mission 3: Sonderzuge Sabotage.

To start the Railyard quest, you must finish the “Investigate The Train Station” quest, where you need to search for the cargo transportation documents.

In Sniper Elite: Resistance, the Sonderzuge Sabotage questline has six objectives/quests, all of which you must complete to progress in the next storyline.

Destroy The Locomotive — ***Destroy the Locomotive is the sub-quest in the Investigate The Railyard***.

While the first objective in the mission, i.e., Find The Second Safehouse, is optional, we recommend you start here as it is closest to your starting location.

Players can start the questline from different locations, including Parkview Apartments and Signal Box.

Before you get to Investigate The Train Station objective, you must complete Identify What The Gestapo Are Hiding and Investigate The Train Station.

Start “Investigate The Railyard” Quest To Destroy The Locomotive

After you search for the documents in the Investigate The Train Station quest, your next stop is The Railyard, where you need to identify threats to the resistance.

You need to make your way to the parked train covered in a camouflage pattern. The train is located on the middle track near the overhead bridge. The train is located on the middle track near the overhead bridge.

How To Destroy The Locomotive?

Once you’ve identified the train, you must plant the satchel on the train, step back to a safe distance, and detonate the charge.

Satchel Locomotive — ***Place The Satchel on The Train***.

Moreover, the explosion you create through the Satchel Charge will destroy the train, completing your objective “Destroy the Locomotive.”

After completing the Investigate The Railyard objective, your next objectives are Kill List: Claude La Ronde, and finally, the last objective is Exfiltrate.

The second last objective, to Kill Claude La Ronde, is also a part of the Kill List challenge, which will reward you with M.1907, a high-power secondary weapon with minimal bullet drop.

You can locate the enemy around the railyard area, so clearing the area and defeating the boss will lead you to the end of the questline, where your last objective is to leave the place as soon as possible.
