This videotape is encountered during the third chapter, Swann Holloway, 1995, when you enter the flashback of Swann’s Childhood.

Within this chapter, you will find plenty of things to appreciate about Swann’s Childhood, including her outfits and other materials, including her chest.

Enter Swann Room To Get The Crystal Tape

Once you have entered the third chapter, you will find yourself in Swann’s Room back in the ’90s.

The objective here is to find the Dark Crystal tape with the Movie Palace case, collect snacks, get dressed, get the camcorder, and record some footage.

As you enter Swann’s room in the game Lost Records, she will mention that she needs to return the Dark Crystal Tape to The Movie Palace.

But this is a little bit tricky because the case is empty, and the tape is missing. You will find the case on the chest by the window just to the left of Swann’s cat. Since the case is empty, you must find the tape.

Finding The Dark Crystal Tape

As the case you find is empty, you need to search the room further, relive Swann’s childhood, and admire her retro items.

Moving further with the investigation, you will find it in a plain white case near the closet, to the right of Swann’s bed.

When you pick it up, Swann will remind you that it needs to be returned to its original case by the TV. To complete the task, simply remove the tape from the white case and return it to the chest by the window.

While looking for the tape, you can stop by Swann’s wardrobe and help her choose an outfit.

Once you are done with the videotape, you can grab the snack from Swann’s desk and progress with the story, leading you to the next chapter.
