In AC Shadows, you will find several quests; among them, Shadows and Lights is one where you need to retrieve three Lanterns.
Lanterns are scattered around the different regions of Kashiwara Manor, so players must seek out the entire map to get them all.
Locate Kashiwara Manor To Retrieve Lanterns In AC Shadows
To start your journey, you need to head to Kashiwara Manor in the Iga region and avoid the heavily guarded main entrance of the house.
Instead, circle the left side of the property, where you’ll find a climable spot, and then enter stealthily.
Inside, you find a lot of bushes to hide behind. While holding L2, you have highlighted injective, and there are three small blue dots showing where the lanterns are located.
You must stealth wherever possible, as this place is crawling with enemies.
If you engage, concentrate on the larger enemies first, assassinating them, for they tend to be the biggest hassle in direct combat.
Use kunai for distant targets or to separate grouped enemies. Double assassinations work effectively when enemies stand close together.
Retrieve The Three Lanterns
Starting at the front gate, you will encounter three lanterns in the following sequence:
- Right house: the first lantern (an enemy guards this location)
- Get hold of the large house directly in front (it also has a chest with the rare Kitsune’s Revenge trinket), as the second lantern is located inside.
- The final lantern is on the left cabin.
While retrieving the lanterns, take advantage of valuable loot throughout the manor;
- Materials for crafting (Hemp Cloth, Silk, Crops)
- There is Epic Guardian Armor
- Finally, Tools Aprrentice Gear (epic light armor).
Now that you have gathered all three lanterns, head back to Toshiharu, closing out this quest and the arc that started with finding Matsu.
