Step-By-Step Guide To Obtaining The Royal Scepter

To obtain the Royal Scepter in Blue Prince, at first, you need a unique sequence with the chess powers:

1. Draft rooms with every chess piece and solve the chess puzzle.
2. Select the Rook power.
3. In a new run, again solve the Chess Puzzles.
4. This time, choose the King power (don’t pick any other chess power between selecting the Rook and King).
5. This sequence (castling) will reveal the hidden passage into an underground crypt.

Step 2: Acquire the Key of Aries

For the Key of Aries from the crypt:

1. Draft Observatory and activate the “Southern Cross” buff.
2. Open the hidden passage created through the chess puzzle leading to the crypt.
3. Once 1:30 PM (in-game time) is reached with no coins, gems, or items, a clock puzzle will be revealed.
4. Solve the clock puzzle

• Turn the minute hand to 01:09
• Turn the minute hand clockwise to 01:15
• Turn the minute hand anticlockwise to 12:26
• Hit Y/triangle and get the Key of Aries.

You can just take this key on any other run without completing that process again.

Step 3: Get the Blessing of the Monk

1. Draft your Shrine as the outer room.
2. Donate 13 gold to the Shrine statue so that you receive the Blessing from the Monk.
3. This would last for four game days in which you can then draft any interior room in that outer shed.
4. Tricky: Don’t break open that stone chest inside the Shrine yet.

Step 4: Prepare the Treasure Trove

1. First, get the floor plan of the Treasure Trove (in the Underground, in the upper section of the Rotating Gear, past the sealed Red Door).
2. Put the Treasure Trove inside the manor.
3. While the Blessing of the Monk lasts, end your day inside the Treasure Trove.

Step 5: Get the Royal Scepter

1. The following day, draft your Treasure Trove into the outer room option.
2. Collect the Key of Aries in case you haven’t done so already.
3. Enter the outer Treasure Trove and use the Key of Aries to unlock the special chest.
4. Get your reward: Royal Scepter.

Once you have the Scepter, you can place it on an altar to choose a color. Each color affects which room types appear more frequently in future drafts.
