You will discover it by looking to the west or north of Avalon. Find your way to the grotto entrance and proceed with care.

There are many strange artifacts, old writings, and mechanical creations here, left over by the First Men.

Take your time to explore every corner. Interact with everything you can read inscriptions on the walls, examine strange devices, and collect any notes or items you find.

These clues will help you understand who the First Men were and how they lived.

Activate The Ancient Construct

Deep within the grotto, there is a big and intriguing-looking construct or device. This forms a major part of the journey.

Sometimes, communicating with the First Men requires you to solve a moderately easy puzzle or start an event that gives information about their past.

You can’t go any further until you complete this step. As you wander around, search for items, notes or artifacts and add them to your inventory.

They support completing the main goal and also have a positive impact on the plot.

A few of these things can be utilized later or needed to open up further topics for NPCs.

Returning To The Quest Giver

When the quest is done, go back to the person who assigned the mission to you.

Let others know about what you found out concerning the First Men.
